Profile of Patrice Lasserre
Having being a Chartered Director (2015-2023) and having served on the Boards of various organisations for more than twenty-five years give me extensive knowledge and experience in Corporate Governance and in the functioning of Boards of Directors.
I spent over forty years in diverse corporations, in Europe and in South Africa:
- Telecommunications (9yrs)
- Information Technology (2yrs)
- Management Consulting (3yrs)
- Chemical Industry (5yrs)
- A State-Owned Enterprise (8yrs)
- Oil Industry (14yrs)
I drove the strategy and implementation of beneficial and sustained transformation in these organisations.
During my professional career, I went to forty-five countries around the world to do business; this gave me a profound insight into scores of cultures. It enhanced a natural ability to relate to individuals of widely different backgrounds. My formal education and vast business experience are combined with a passion for mentoring and learning.
I operate in English and in French.
In 2010, I created Board Whisperer, a private practice focusing on making young leaders board-ready, forming professional Boards and analysing the performance of Governing Bodies.
I serve as independent Non-Executive Director on the Board of two international companies
